2. Services

RetCOM provides an AI-powered commit message enhancement service that transforms brief, low-quality Git commit messages into detailed, well-organized descriptions of each change. Our service accesses your GitHub repositories with your permission to analyze and enhance commit messages.

3. Account Registration

To use RetCOM, you must register using your GitHub account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Payment and Credits

RetCOM operates on a credit-based system. Each credit allows for the enhancement of one commit message.

New users receive 1000 free credits upon registration. Additional credits can be purchased through our platform at the rates specified on our website.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

Credits do not expire and can be used at any time. No refunds will be provided for purchased credits.

5. Data and Privacy

RetCOM requires 'repo' access to your GitHub account. Your access tokens are encrypted and stored securely.

When enhancing commit messages, we analyze the diff information for each commit. This information is not stored after processing.

We collect usage metrics such as the number of commits processed and task processing time for analytics purposes.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of RetCOM, including but not limited to design, text, graphics, logos, icons, and software code, are the exclusive property of RetCOM and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Enhanced commit messages generated by our service belong to you and your repository.

7. Limitation of Liability

RetCOM is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. In no event shall RetCOM be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the service after such modifications shall constitute your consent to such changes.
